Cycle Sunday 22nd May 9am-12pm – We have our partners confirmed!
On 22nd May we will be joined not only by the (fingers crossed!) lovely spring sunshine, but also by Wheels for All, Ape Project and Life Cycle. There will be bikes for all abilities, paint spinning, free Dr. Bike check-ups and a smoothie bike, and of course ice cream and coffee.
Come and join us! Bring children, grandparents, cousins and friends for a peaceful pedal around the Downs. Once again Circular Road will be closed to traffic, allowing people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the freedom of cycling around the beautiful Downs
We have been thrilled by the success of the events in previous years. The atmosphere has been so positive with a strong community feel as people wave to friends whilst cycling along.
The pace is relaxed and slow, some of the cyclists are very tiny, but people feel happy to take their time and absorb it all. Children are delighted to be able to cycle freely, and parents seem relaxed in letting them do so. We are pleased to see adult cyclists of all ages and abilities enjoying the Downs.
